MEMBERSHIP GRADE

1. STUDENT MEMBERSHIP (STM)

Students of institutions of higher learning are encouraged to register as members and participate in the Institute’s training and development programmes. Upon graduation, your membership shall be Graduate Membership via an upgrade programme.

3. ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP (ASSOM)

An applicant for associate membership of the Institute must satisfy the following conditions:

  1. 1. Must be a graduate of any recognized higher institution of learning or a professional body for at least five years.
  2. 2. Must be working in the field of customer service delivery for at least four years

5. SENIOR MEMBERSHIP (SEM)

Applicants for senior membership of the Institute must be at least 40 years old. In addition, they must satisfy one of the following conditions:

  1. 1. A minimum of 16 years in customer service practice
  2. 2. Must be a graduate of a recognized institution of higher learning or professional body for not less than 15 years.
  3. Must be in the customer service department of their organization

2. GRADUATE MEMBERSHIP (GRAM)

An applicant for graduate membership of the Institute must satisfy one of the following conditions:
  1. 1. Must have graduated from any higher institution of learning or any recognized professional body for at least two years.
  2. 2. Must have worked for the past six months in a customer service department or as a call center agent.

4. FULL MEMBERSHIP (FUM)

An applicant for full membership of the Institute must satisfy the following conditions:
1. Must be a graduate of any recognized higher institution of learning or a professional body for not less than 5years
2. Must be working in the field of customer service delivery for at least ten years

6. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP (COM)

This membership category is open to corporate organizations with at least two customer service personnel. The governing council may also use discretion to promote honorary membership to deserving individuals and organizations.
